Job summary

RED Global is seeking a L1/L2 Support Engineer for an airport security project in Copenhagen. The initial contract is 6 months and starts ASAP, with 5 on-site days per week in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

On behalf of one of our key partners, RED now has a contract opportunity for a L1/L2 Support to join an airport security project! The initial contract will be 6 months, with potential extension.

This contract is to start ASAP/1 month and will be 5 days on site per week in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Responsibilities:

The L1/L2 Support Engineer will provide technical and application support for airport security, biometric identity and passenger verification solutions at Copenhagen Airport. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving incidents across applications, servers, operating systems, networks and infrastructure, supporting business-critical systems used within the airport environment. Responsibilities include system monitoring, maintenance, incident and change management, technical documentation, and collaborating with engineering and operations teams to ensure high availability and operational continuity of identity management and security platforms.

Must have skills:

• Fluent Danish (spoken and written) - mandatory, non-negotiable.
• L1/L2 troubleshooting experience.
• Windows and/or Linux administration.
• Application/system troubleshooting beyond basic desktop support.
• Willingness to undergo security clearance.

Nice to have:

• VMware / Hyper-V.
• Bash, PowerShell or Python.
• Apache / Jboss.
• SQL / Oracle.
• ITIL / ITSM experience.
