Job summary

NNIT in Copenhagen seeks a Platform & Project Manager to lead Kubernetes service deliveries across multiple customers, balancing platform operations with project work.

You will own backlogs, plan with engineers, scope and price requests, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining service quality and strong customer relationships. This is a central role in NNIT's Platform Engineering unit.

Responsibilities

• Responsible across multiple customers for 24/7 operations deliveries, project deliveries and economy.
• Service management (ITIL processes and CSR backlog).
• Manage Kubernetes platform operations services for multiple customers, keeping service quality, stability and customer satisfaction high.
• Own the backlog of customer service requests (CSRs) and produce a realistic production plan.
• Project management of 150-400 hour projects.
• Run requirement-clarification sessions with customer stakeholders and define scope and deliverables.
• Write implementation plans with milestones, resources and dependencies.
• Manage projects from kick-off to handover, track progress, budget and quality.
• Stakeholder management and building trusted relationships with customers and Platform Engineers.
• Operations KPI and service reporting; platform economy management and invoicing.
• Add-on sales of Kubernetes services to existing customers.
• Spot opportunities in customer requests and turn larger ones into projects.

The NNIT Platform Engineering unit

This is an unique opportunity to take part in NNIT growing Platform Engineering Unit.

We advise and implement on-premise Kubernetes platforms, including DevOps workflows and Cloud-native tooling to our customers.

We are experts in on-premise Kubernetes platforms, containerization and know our way in the everchanging landscape of automation and DevOps technologies to provide the best solutions to our customers in regulated industries.

The Platform- & Project Manager role

We can offer you a central role in delivering k8s services across multiple customers and a continuous focus on delivering identical services across projects and platform operations.

You will be part of a dedicated team that has full control of all the K8s deliveries and continuously focus on delivering and improving Kubernetes centered services across customers.

You will manage the platform operations services and help them grow. You will be the customer's main contact for service requests, keep the backlog and production plan in order, and turn customer needs into paid projects that you ensure is delivered.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Responsible across multiple customers for 24/7 operations deliveries, project deliveries and economy.
• Service management (ITIL processes and CSR backlog)
• Manage Kubernetes platform operations services for multiple customers, keeping service quality, stability and customer satisfaction high.
• Own the backlog of customer service requests (CSRs). Prioritize it with customers and the team, and turn it into a realistic production plan that balances capacity, dependencies and commitments.
• Project management (150-400 hour projects)
• Run requirement-clarification sessions with customer stakeholders. Define scope and deliverables, and estimate effort, duration and timeline together with the technical team.
• Write implementation plans covering milestones, resources and dependencies.
• Manage projects from kick-off to handover. Track progress, budget and quality, handle changes, and report to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Stakeholder management
• Build trusted relationships with customers and Platform Engineers.
• Operations KPI and service reporting
• Platform and Project economy management and invoicing
• Add-on sales of our K8s services to existing customers
• Spot opportunities in customer requests and turn the larger ones into projects

Your Qualifications

• Proven Project manager experience
• Proven ability to scope, estimate and deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Uou're comfortable turning needs into offers and discussing scope and price with customers.
• Proven ITIL experience
• Experience with defining and managing service delivery processes
• A continues improvement and economy optimization mindset
• A team player with a collaborative and a solution oriented mindset
• A healthy amount of impatience to ensure solutions are defined and delivered.
• You don't need to be an engineer, but you need to talk credibly with engineers and customers.
• Application development experience or ERP implementation experience
