Job description

Are you curious about how bestselling fashion products stay available in stores and online around the world? Do you enjoy working with data and finding solutions? If you're looking for a place where you can learn, grow and make an impact from day one, this could be your next step.

Join SELECTED's Essentials department as our new Junior Planner and become part of the team behind one of our most important business areas. Together, we ensure that our bestselling products are available when and where our customers need them, across international markets.

YOUR TEAM

Essentials is home to SELECTED's Never Out Of Stock programme, also known as NOOS. Here, we work to keep our bestselling products available throughout the year by balancing customer demand, inventory and product availability. To make that happen, we work closely with colleagues across Sales, Buying and Product, as well as with our international suppliers. You'll join a skilled and supportive team where knowledge is shared openly, responsibility comes early and you'll have plenty of opportunities to learn, develop and make an impact.

YOUR ROLE

As a Junior Planner, you'll help ensure that SELECTED's bestselling products are available throughout the year. By combining data, analysis and close collaboration with colleagues across the business, you'll see how every planning decision helps keep our bestselling products moving. From day one, you'll contribute to the team's work while developing your analytical skills and commercial understanding. As you grow in the role, you'll gradually take on more responsibility and build your expertise within different planning disciplines. Depending on your development and business needs, you'll have the opportunity to specialise within areas such as demand planning or replenishment planning.

Your tasks will include:

  • Monitoring sales, stock levels and product availability across international markets
  • Analysing data and identifying trends that support planning and business decisions
  • Supporting forecasting, replenishment and purchasing activities
  • Preparing reports and maintaining planning data in our systems
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Sales, Buying and Product to ensure an efficient product flow
  • Contributing ideas that help improve planning processes and commercial performance.
YOUR PROFILE

We believe you'll thrive if you're curious about how a business works, enjoy analysing data and are motivated by turning data into meaningful business decisions. You're eager to learn, enjoy collaborating across teams and are ready to take responsibility while making a real contribution to the business. In addition, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a relevant degree within Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Engineering or a similar analytical field
  • Have experience working with Microsoft Excel and are eager to strengthen your analytical toolbox
  • Work in a structured and detail-oriented way
  • Communicate confidently in English, both written and spoken.
