Job summary

Opoura GmbH in Silkeborg is seeking a Junior Controller to support hands-on financial administration, month-end activities, reconciliations, and coordination with international entities. You will work from our Silkeborg headquarters and report to the Chief Accountant, collaborating closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure accurate, timely financial information.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Education in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or a comparable vocational qualification.
• Strong MS Excel ability and experience with an ERP system.
• Fluent in Danish and English, with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, payments, expenses, bank transactions, and reconciliations accurately and on time.
• Contribute to month-end closing, including accruals, reconciliations, documentation, and reporting.
• Coordinate financial information from international entities and meet deadlines.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and transactions between parent and subsidiaries.
• Prepare financial data, schedules, and basic analyses for management reporting.
• Assist external accountants, auditors, and tax advisers as needed.
