Job summary

GEA Westfalia Separator DK in Skanderborg, Denmark, is seeking a Financial Controller to strengthen the finance team. You will be responsible for reporting, analysis, and business support across monthly, quarterly, and yearly cycles, with a focus on accuracy and process improvements.

You will collaborate across the organization, participate in budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to the ERP transition to SAP S/4HANA while ensuring compliance and effective intercompany and VAT processes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in controlling, accounting, audit, or finance.
• Strong analytical mindset with a structured and proactive approach.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP or Business Central).
• Full Danish and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and KPI performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
• Execute month-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and bookkeeping.
• Manage VAT reporting, intercompany transactions, and compliance-related finance processes.
• Monitor receivables, payables, and collection activities while supporting invoicing processes.
• Drive improvements in finance processes and transition to SAP S/4HANA.
• Support audits, ad hoc analyses, and business partnering across the organization.

Responsibilities / Tasks

As a Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function through reporting, analysis, and operational finance activities. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will help ensure accurate financial data, support decision-making, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

More specifically, you will:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and KPI performance.
