Job summary

Performativ seeks a Founder's Associate working student to own internal tools and AI-focused projects from problem definition through implementation. You will work with founders and executives across product, commercial, finance, and operations, building lightweight Python-based tools and automations while handling data and deployment.

You will balance technical work with business context, turning prototypes into usable software and maintaining tools after launch.

Qualifications

• Experience building applications with LLMs and moving them beyond prototypes into usable environments.
• Strong Python skills and ability to build working software independently with LLMs.
• Advanced Excel capability including nested formulas, financial modelling, and scenario analysis.
• Structure ambiguous business problems into clear technical work.
• Hands-on AI tools, APIs, automations, and modern development workflows.
• Attention to data, assumptions, financial models, and production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build internal applications that automate recurring workflows and improve decisions.
• Turn LLM prototypes into reliable tools for day-to-day operations.
• Own focused strategic and operational projects across product, commercial, finance, and operations.
• Develop Python-based tools connecting models, APIs, data, and workflows.
• Create financial models and scenario analyses with explicit tradeoffs.
• Reduce manual work by automating repetitive processes.
• Scope independent projects from definition to deployment and documentation.
• Debug failed workflows and edge cases in production use.
• Translate founder questions into analyses or working software.
• Decide what not to build when a spreadsheet or existing tool suffices.
• Measure shipped work using adoption, time saved, or accuracy.
• Maintain tools as requirements and systems evolve.
