Job summary

DS Smith in Denmark is seeking an experienced IT Operations Team Leader to guide a regional IT infrastructure team across servers, networks, storage and telecoms. You will balance hands-on technical work with people leadership to ensure reliable, secure and high-performing services.

Travel up to 30% within Denmark & Sweden; hybrid work model with 60% home-based, and close collaboration with regional stakeholders. A degree in CS/IT and ITIL/industry certificates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading IT infrastructure or operations teams.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
• Strong networking, server and storage knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing IT infrastructure team.
• Oversee day-to-day IT infrastructure operations including servers, networks, storage, and telecoms.
• Ensure security, availability and performance of IT systems and services.
• Plan and deliver infrastructure projects with budgeting and stakeholder management.
• Coordinate incident response and root-cause analyses.
