Job summary

Hamamatsu Photonics A/S is seeking an IT Supporter to be the first point of contact for employees across offices in Denmark and abroad. You will manage requests in Jira, provide hands-on tech support, and assist onboarding and offboarding, with on-site and remote deployments in a hybrid IT environment.

The role requires strong Windows 10/11 knowledge, experience with Microsoft 365, and excellent communication in Danish and English.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT education and/or professional experience within IT support
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments
• Experience working in hybrid IT environments
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive)
• A service-minded approach and strong customer support skills
• The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical users
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Danish and English
• Experience with Intune, Autopilot, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, or software deployment solutions will be considered an advantage.

You will become part of an international organization with colleagues in Denmark, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. The Infrastructure & Operations team is based at our headquarters in Birkerød, Denmark, where we also have our primary production facilities.

You will join a dedicated team of four IT professionals responsible for delivering stable and efficient IT services across the organization. As our corporate language is English, you should be comfortable working in an international environment.

About the Position

As an IT Supporter, you will be the first point of contact for many of our employees and play an important role in ensuring a smooth and reliable IT experience across the organization. You will work closely with users locally and internationally, handling a variety of technical challenges and helping ensure that our IT systems support both office and production environments.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing and prioritising IT support requests through Jira
• Providing hands‑on technical support to employees

Your Qualifications

We imagine that you have experience from a similar IT support role and enjoy helping users solve technical challenges. Additionally, we expect that you have:

• Relevant IT education and/or professional experience within IT support
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments
• Experience working in hybrid IT environments
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive)
• A service‑mindled approach and strong customer support skills
• The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non‑technical users
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Danish and English
