Job summary

Pandora A/S in Denmark is seeking a Specialist, Retail Operations – Inventory Process & Control Excellence. You will strengthen inventory accuracy, operational compliance, and loss prevention across Pandora by investigating discrepancies and recommending preventive actions.

You will collaborate with Finance, HR, Retail Operations, and Global Physical Security to develop SOPs and dashboards, translate findings into stronger processes, and support continuous improvement across markets.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in retail operations, inventory management, loss prevention, audit, financial controls, fraud prevention, or related area.
• Practical experience investigating inventory variances, stock losses, cash issues, fraud, or discount misuse.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, including root cause analyses.
• Experience developing SOPs, controls, and process documentation.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI/reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory accuracy, stock integrity, and compliance across markets.
• Analyse inventory adjustments, exception reports, stocktake results, and cycle count variances.
• Partner with markets to resolve inventory issues and strengthen governance standards.
• Investigate significant inventory discrepancies, shrink, and cash discrepancies.
• Identify patterns, risks, control gaps, and policy violations.
• Conduct root cause analyses and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate remediation plans and support audits and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Retail Ops, and Global Physical Security on investigations.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, control frameworks, and guidelines.
• Translate findings into stronger processes and preventative controls.
• Support continuous improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives.
• Contribute to implementing new systems, tools, and processes.
• Produce reporting on inventory, shrink, cash, fraud, discounts, and compliance.
• Develop dashboards and presentations highlighting trends and risks.
