Job summary

Jones Engineering is expanding its Data Centre Division in Copenhagen. The Intermediate Quantity Surveyor will join the delivery team on a large DC project in Denmark, handling cost and hours tracking for labour hire and prelim staff while supporting the Commercial Manager with reports and progress applications.

The role requires previous experience, strong IT and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a multi-functional team.

Due to expansion of our Data Centre Division, Jones Engineering require an Intermediate Quantity Surveyors to join the delivery team on a large DC Project in Denamrk.

Responsibilities

• Tracking Costs and Hours of all Labour Hire Subcontractors.
• Tracking Costs and Hours of all Subcontracted Prelim Staff.
• Assist the Commercial Manager with the preparation of Commercial Reports.
• Maintain all Commercial Registers.
• Manage Sub-contractor accounts from initial award to interim valuation, variations and final accounts.
• Assist the Commercial Manager with monthly progress applications.
• All other duties associated with this role.

Key Skills/ Requirements

• Relevant third level qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team.
• Excellent IT Skills.
• Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills
