Job summary

Mane Contract Services are recruiting an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join a leading international engineering contractor delivering major projects across Data Centres, Pharmaceuticals, Power and Critical Infrastructure.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical QS to take ownership of the commercial side of major projects, from tender stage through to final account, with a substantial 5+ year pipeline and long-term stability.

Qualifications

• Experience as Electrical Quantity Surveyor or MEP Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong knowledge of commercial management in engineering or construction.
• Experience with BOQs, valuations, variations, remeasurement and final accounts.
• Good understanding of subcontractor management and contracts.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and organisational ability.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and managing BOQs, budgets, cost reports and profit plans
• Managing projects commercially from tender through to final account
• Leading interim commercial meetings with clients and internal teams
• Managing subcontractor accounts, valuations and final accounts
• Preparing accurate monthly applications, including remeasurements, dayworks, variations and claims
• Identifying and managing commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Working closely with Planning Engineers to ensure commercial reporting reflects progress
• Costing and agreeing variations and daily works
• Maintaining detailed commercial records to support contractual claims
• Negotiating with clients and their representatives where required
• Supporting strong commercial performance and successful project delivery

Salary: €110,000- €120,000

Mane Contract Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join a leading international engineering contractor delivering major projects across Data Centres, Pharmaceuticals, Power and Critical Infrastructure.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical QS looking to take ownership of the commercial side of major engineering projects, from tender stage through to final account.

With a substantial pipeline of work extending 5+ years, this position offers long-term stability, career development and the opportunity to work on some of Europe’s most technically advanced engineering projects.

The Role:

As an Electrical Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial management of electrical projects, working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and managing BOQs, budgets, cost reports and profit plans
• Managing projects commercially from tender through to final account
• Leading interim commercial meetings with clients and internal teams
• Managing subcontractor accounts, valuations and final accounts
• Preparing accurate monthly applications, including remeasurements, dayworks, variations and claims
• Identifying and managing commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle

What We're Looking For:

We’re looking for an Electrical Quantity Surveyor who can combine strong commercial awareness with technical understanding of electrical engineering projects.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience working as an Electrical Quantity Surveyor / MEP Quantity Surveyor
• Strong knowledge of commercial management within engineering or construction projects
• Experience with BOQs, valuations, variations, remeasurement and final accounts
• Good understanding of subcontractor management and commercial contracts
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
• The confidence to work independently and take ownership of your workload
• Experience within Data Centres, Pharmaceuticals, Power, Industrial or similar technically complex environments would be advantageous
