Job summary

Vestas is seeking a leader for Blades Industrialization & Portfolio to manage industrialization projects from concept to implementation. You will collaborate with R&D, SCM, Quality and other stakeholders to ensure safe, scalable manufacturing and value creation.

The role emphasizes end-to-end lifecycle ownership, target cost setting, and shaping product concepts with manufacturing input from pre-Gate 0 onwards, driving DfM and DfA principles across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and industry experience in manufacturing or R&D.
• Experience with launching new products and industrialization projects.
• Project/Portfolio Management certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Manufacturing in the cross-functional product team to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and industrialization.
• Lead concepts including discussions with R&D before Gate 0 launch and ensure DfA/DfM considerations.
• Set target cost, quality, safety and delivery objectives.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle from launch to decommissioning with cost/quality/safety accountability.
• Contribute to cross-functional groups with Blades R&D, Procurement, Supply Chain and Quality.
