Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Software Architect OT to shape the Industrial Digital Foundation and Software-Defined Automation across DPS. You will define target architectures, standards, and reusable patterns for OT, edge, and data platforms, guiding cross-portfolio technology convergence.

You will lead architecture reviews, drive secure and scalable designs, and mentor teams across engineering, cybersecurity, data, and AI. A Master’s in a related field and strong English are expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent with extensive experience in industrial automation or critical infrastructure.
• Experience with plant operations, high-availability and safety constraints.
• Familiarity with industry standards and secure architecture practices.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and govern architectures and standards across OT, edge, and automation domains.
• Lead architecture reviews and translate strategy into roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable scalable platforms.
