Job summary

NOVENCO Building & Industry A/S is seeking a motivated Procurement Trainee to join our Purchasing team. This role offers practical experience with purchasing, supplier collaboration and supply chain processes in an international manufacturing environment.

You will gain hands-on experience while supporting day-to-day purchasing activities, data maintenance in ERP, and cross-functional coordination with Planning, Production and Warehouse.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or accepted for a relevant vocational education or apprenticeship within purchasing, commerce, logistics or supply chain.
• Interest in procurement, supplier management and business operations.
• Structured, detail-oriented and able to keep track of several tasks at the same time.
• Good communication skills and enjoy working with colleagues and external suppliers.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and willing to learn ERP systems.
• Take initiative, ask questions, and approach tasks with curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Communicate effectively in Danish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Support the Purchasing team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.
• Place purchase orders and follow up on order confirmations and deliveries.
• Maintain purchasing master data in the ERP system, including supplier details, item information, prices and lead times.
• Update minimum order quantities (MOQ) and stock levels in collaboration with the team.
• Assist with ABC categorisation of items to support purchasing and stock management.
• Check purchasing data for accuracy and completeness to help daily purchasing activities run smoothly.
• Coordinate with colleagues in Planning, Production and Warehouse on material requirements and deliveries.

To support our production and continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Procurement Trainee to join our Purchasing team. This is an opportunity to gain practical experience with purchasing, supplier collaboration and supply chain processes in an international manufacturing company.

Your Impact

• Support the Purchasing team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.

• Place purchase orders and follow up on order confirmations and deliveries.

• Maintain purchasing master data in the ERP system, including supplier details, item information, prices and lead times.

• Update minimum order quantities (MOQ) and minimum and maximum stock levels in collaboration with the team.

• Assist with ABC categorisation of items to support purchasing and stock management.

• Check purchasing data for accuracy and completeness to help daily purchasing activities run smoothly.

• Contact suppliers about routine order and delivery enquiries, and flag delays or discrepancies to the team.

• Coordinate with colleagues in Planning, Production and Warehouse on material requirements and deliveries.
