Job summary

NOVENCO Building & Industry is seeking a motivated Procurement Trainee to join our Purchasing team. This role offers hands-on experience with purchasing, supplier collaboration and core supply chain processes in an international manufacturing setting.

You will support day-to-day purchasing tasks, place orders, maintain master data in the ERP system and collaborate with Planning, Production and Warehouse to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or accepted for a relevant vocational education or apprenticeship within purchasing, commerce, logistics or supply chain.
• You have an interest in procurement, supplier management and business operations.
• You are structured, detail-oriented and able to keep track of several tasks at the same time.
• You have good communication skills and enjoy working with both colleagues and external suppliers.
• You are confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and are willing to learn new ERP systems.
• You take initiative, ask questions and approach tasks with curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• You can communicate effectively in Danish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain purchasing master data in the ERP system, including supplier details, item information, prices and lead times.
• Update minimum order quantities (MOQ) and minimum and maximum stock levels in collaboration with the team.
• Assist with ABC categorisation of items to support purchasing and stock management.
• Check purchasing data for accuracy and completeness to help daily purchasing activities run smoothly.
• Coordinate with colleagues in Planning, Production and Warehouse on material requirements and deliveries.
• Contact suppliers about routine order and delivery enquiries, and flag delays or discrepancies to the team.
