Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Clearance Broker Associate to join the Import Customs Clearance team. You will review shipments, ensure accurate documentation, and process declarations using in-house systems.

You will communicate with customers and government agencies to clarify details, resolve routine disputes, and build strong relationships to recommend the best clearance services, all within a fast-paced office environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy office environment and contributing to team performance.
• Knowledge of import/export processes and CHIEF entries; familiarity with regulatory requirements.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to make quick numerical decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Review shipments data to understand customer and regulatory requirements and verify documentation.
• Use in-house systems to create accurate and legally compliant clearance declarations.
• Contact customers or government agencies to clarify information when needed.
• Resolve routine customer and customs disputes.
