Job summary

VELUX Group in Østbirk is seeking a Senior Development Engineer to take technical ownership of IGU modules and drive end-to-end development from concept through optimization. You will work across product management, production and supply chain to ensure value creation and strong cross-functional alignment.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Engineering, hands-on product development experience, and proficiency with CREO and Windchill.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience with product development of complex technical products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach.
• Experience with CAD tools CREO and Windchill.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Ability to engage stakeholders across functions.
• Systems engineering knowledge is a plus.
• Experience or knowledge in insulating glass or glazing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hold technical ownership and end-to-end responsibility for IGU modules.
• Drive module development across new product launches and improvements.
• Lead design, concept development, and resolution of complex technical challenges.
• Define technical requirements and robust engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Production, and Supply Chain.
