Job summary

Opoura is seeking a hands-on engineer to join the Control & Communication team, developing power plant controller solutions for wind, solar, storage, and hybrid plants. You will focus on automation, integration, and validation to ensure PPCs operate reliably.

Based in Silkeborg, Hannover, or Cluj-Napoca, the role uses testing, simulation models, and scripts to make validation repeatable and traceable, with travel for collaboration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with industrial automation and control systems.
• Experience with SCADA, signals mapping and industrial interfaces.
• Programming or scripting skills for automation, e.g., Python or C#.
• Background in automation/electrical or control engineering.

Responsibilities

• Work with industrial automation and control systems to support PPC configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Develop and improve automated testing workflows, including simulation-based tests and regression testing.
• Work with controller interfaces, protocols, signal mapping, and SCADA integration.
• Build or improve scripts, test tools, result analysis, and technical documentation for repeatable validation.
