Job summary

Nipromec Group is seeking a Site Manager to oversee large-scale HV substation and grid infrastructure projects across Sweden and Denmark. You will coordinate on-site construction, manage subcontractors, ensure compliance with project requirements and drive safe, efficient delivery.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, and clients to meet quality, schedule, safety, and commercial objectives while championing HSE across all site operations and facilitating

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in site management, construction supervision, commissioning, or project delivery within energy/utility/EPC sectors.
• Mandatory experience delivering High Voltage (HV) Substation projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, substations, transmission and distribution infrastructure.

Job description

As a Site Manager, you will oversee the successful execution of large-scale High Voltage (HV) Substation, Grid Infrastructure, and Power Transmission projects across Sweden and Denmark. As the senior representative on site, you will be responsible for coordinating construction activities, managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and driving safe and efficient project delivery.

You will work closely with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, and clients to ensure projects meet quality, schedule, safety, and commercial objectives.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all daily on-site construction activities.
• Lead site execution for complex HV substation, transmission, grid infrastructure, and power projects.
• Serve as the primary interface between site teams, contractors, and client representatives.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
• Coordinate activities between engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and customer teams.
• Track project progress and identify risks, delays, and resource constraints.
• Develop and implement mitigation plans to maintain project schedules.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project costs and contribute to financial control and forecasting activities.
• Review contractor performance and support contract administration activities.
• Champion Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) performance across all site operations.
• Coordinate commissioning and energization activities and support project handover.
• Produce accurate site reports and maintain project records.
• Support customer meetings, audits, inspections, and project reviews.
• Promote a culture of operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.

Your Profile

• 7+ years of experience in site management, construction supervision, commissioning, or project delivery within the energy, utilities, EPC, or electrical infrastructure sectors.
• Mandatory experience delivering High Voltage (HV) Substation projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, substations, transmission and distribution infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Experience leading the execution of large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
• Experience in project reporting, schedule control, contractor management, and cost monitoring.
• Financial understanding including forecasting, risk assessment, budget tracking, and change management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with digital reporting and project management tools.
• Fluent in English, Swedish and/or Danish is a plus
• Willingness to travel throughout Sweden & Denmark when required.
