Job summary

Bonzer is an SEO agency with offices in Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Oslo. We are hiring to own HR across three markets, from recruitment and onboarding to contracts and payroll. You will report to the CEO & CFO and guide the function across three countries with autonomy from day one.

You will manage a full HR scope, ensuring compliant practices, a strong handbook, and an office-first culture while collaborating closely with our Office Manager and leadership. This role is hands-on and strategic.

Qualifications

• You don't need many years of HR experience – judgment, structure and follow-through matter more than tenure.
• Solid understanding of HR and labor law in at least one Scandinavian country, with willingness to learn others.
• Highly organized and self-driven with real autonomy from day one.

• Recruitment & onboarding – own the end-to-end hiring process and onboarding experience.
• HR administration – contracts, records, and HR systems across Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian frameworks.
• Salary, vacation & leave – support payroll and administer leave correctly in each country.

Bonzer is a specialist SEO agency on a mission to be the clear Nordic leader in search – the partner ambitious businesses in Denmark, Sweden and Norway turn to first. We work from our offices in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo, and we take our culture as seriously as our craft.

We're looking for someone to own HR across all three markets. Not to sit above the work – to do the work, with the mandate to match.

The role

This is a rare shape of role: full responsibility for the HR function, and full ownership of its execution. You'll be the one running recruitment, writing the contracts, answering the questions, and making our people processes work across three countries – while also being the person accountable for the function as a whole. Our Office Manager reports to you, and you report directly to our CEO & CFO.

One thing we want to be upfront about: we're not hiring someone to tell us what our culture should be. What you'll do

• Recruitment & onboarding – own the hiring process end to end: job posts, candidate coordination, interviews alongside hiring managers, and an onboarding experience that makes people effective and at home fast.

• HR administration – employment contracts, employee records, and our HR system, kept accurate across Danish, Swedish and Norwegian employment frameworks.

• Salary, vacation & leave – support payroll, and administer vacation, parental leave and absence correctly in each country, helping people get everything the law entitles them to.

• Employee relations – be the trusted, approachable HR contact for everyone at Bonzer, and a practical support for our managers.

• Culture & frameworks in practice – steward the handbook, keep our quarterly performance rhythm running, and make sure the way we say we work is the way we actually work.

What we're looking for

• You don't need many years of HR experience – we care far more about judgment, structure and follow-through than tenure. Recent graduates with some HR exposure are genuinely welcome.

• Solid understanding of HR and labor law in at least one Scandinavian country, and the appetite to build working knowledge of the other two.

• Highly organized and self-driven – you'll have real autonomy and real responsibility from day one, and no one standing behind you doing the work.

• Empathetic and approachable, with the backbone to be direct when it matters. Candor with respect is one of our principles, and HR has to model it.

• A genuine feel for culture as something you protect and operationalize – not a deck you present.

• Fluent in English and at least one Scandinavian language.
