Job summary

The role requires 5+ years in architectural design and preservation, strong knowledge of materials and methods, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Excellent communication and independent work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in architectural design and preservation work.
• Strong knowledge of building materials, construction techniques and preservation methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit and other relevant software.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys and assessments of historical buildings to determine preservation needs.
• Develop preservation plans and proposals including cost estimates and timelines.
• Collaborate with clients contractors and other professionals to implement preservation projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support during the construction or restoration process.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
