Job summary

SecureLine is seeking a Preservation Architect in Kolding for a part-time role focused on preserving and restoring historic buildings in Denmark. You will work flexibly to assess sites, develop restoration plans, and coordinate with engineers and contractors to ensure compliant execution.

The ideal candidate has a degree in architecture and at least 3 years of preservation experience, with strong knowledge of conservation practices and proficiency in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Preservation Architect.
• Strong knowledge of architectural history, materials, techniques, and conservation practices.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and related software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings to determine preservation needs.
• Develop preservation plans and strategies for restoration projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure proper execution of restoration projects.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals for restoration work.
• Source and select appropriate materials for restoration projects.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to preservation standards and guidelines.
• Conduct inspections before, during, and after restoration work to ensure quality and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all restoration projects.
