Job summary

Clarion Hotel Copenhagen Airport is seeking a Head Waiter (Breakfast & Lunch) to lead daytime dining operations with a strong focus on guest experience and operational excellence. You will set the service standard, supervise the team, and work closely with the F&B leadership to deliver memorable guest experiences.

You will drive KPIs, balance quality and efficiency, and uphold the Strawberry brand values across daily activities and guest interactions.

As Head Waiter (Breakfast & Lunch), you will serve as the operational anchor for our daytime dining services. You set the benchmark for service quality, establishing a warm, professional atmosphere that ensures every guest experience is seamless and memorable.

Beyond guest-facing execution, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and quality assurance. Working in close partnership with the broader Food & Beverage leadership team, you will streamline daily workflows, maintain a structured working environment, and take full accountability for departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will balance a keen attention to detail with strategic oversight of service standards, financial goals, and team performance.

Operational Flexibility Note: Specific duties, scheduling, and responsibilities are aligned with dynamic business needs and may evolve within the framework of applicable collective agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Supervision: Lead daily floor operations by coordinating, delegating, and overseeing service tasks to optimize workflow and productivity.

• Team Development: Onboard and train new personnel, assign shift duties, and proactively resolve operational bottlenecks during peak service hours.

• Guest & Kitchen Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for guests by managing seating, service floor flow, and dietary requirements while collaborating closely with the rest of the F&B team to maintain seamless service.

• Operational Alignment: Participate actively in departmental meetings and stay informed on key hotel updates, ensuring seamless cross-departmental communication.

• Performance & Targets: Drive results aligned with our core metrics: Employee engagement, guest satisfaction and Financial Performance.

• Brand Ambassadorship: Embody the core values, vision, and corporate social responsibility (WeCare) initiatives of Strawberry.

• Culture Champion: Cultivate a structured, respectful, and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.

This is a full-time position with early morning hours and weekend shifts on a flexible and rotating schedule.
