Job summary

Dalux seeks an Engineering Manager for the Operations Team to scale production systems and ensure reliable services worldwide. You will lead the Operations Team, drive reliability initiatives, and work with Product teams to improve ownership and maturity of production services.

You bring strong leadership with engineering depth, SRE/DevOps background, and depth in cloud infrastructure and automation. Dalux emphasizes growth, collaboration, and a strong engineering culture in Copenhagen.

Qualifications

Experience leading Operations, SRE, Production Engineering, DevOps or similar teams.
Coaching engineers, building teams, recruiting talent and enabling growth.
Experience operating business-critical software or SaaS in production.
Knowledge of observability, incident management, SLOs/SLIs, and reducing toil.
Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and software delivery/automation.
Ability to manage major incidents and stay structured under pressure.

Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and grow the Operations Team; recruit, coach, and support engineers.
Define organization, processes, and practices to scale Operations as Dalux grows.
Drive production reliability, availability, and performance improvements across services.
Manage incidents, root cause analyses, and follow-up actions to prevent recurrence.
Improve monitoring, observability, and proactive issue detection across systems.
Establish clear service ownership with Product teams and improve operational readiness.
Reduce toil through automation and better tooling; improve deployment practices.
Ensure reliable, predictable production releases and changes with a focus on reliability.
