Job summary

Dalux is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Operations Team, scale production systems, and improve reliability across global services. You will guide incident response, monitoring, and release execution while partnering with Product Teams to raise operational maturity.

The role blends people leadership with strong engineering depth, focusing on automation, observability, and ownership across product-driven development in a Copenhagen-based environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing an Operations, SRE, Production Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Operations, or similar team.
• Proven track record coaching engineers, building teams, and recruiting talent.
• Experience operating business-critical software or SaaS in production.
• Knowledge of observability, incident management, RCAs, SLOs/SLIs, and reducing toil.
• Cloud infrastructure experience, preferably AWS, and CI/CD automation.
• Ability to manage major incidents with structured, decisive leadership.
• Belief in shared ownership with engineering teams; prefer automation over repetitive manual work.
• Familiarity with lightweight engineering practices over heavy ITSM processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and grow the Operations Team, including recruiting and coaching engineers.
• Define organization, responsibilities, processes, and engineering practices for Operations as we scale.
• Drive availability, stability, performance, and resilience improvements across Dalux.
• Ensure effective incident and problem management with RCAs and follow-up.
• Improve monitoring and observability to detect issues before customers are affected.
• Establish clear service ownership with Product Teams for reliability of services.
• Reduce toil through automation and better tooling.
• Ensure reliable and predictable production releases and changes.
