Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Dalux is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Operations Team, scale production systems, and improve reliability across global services. You will guide incident response, monitoring, and release execution while partnering with Product Teams to raise operational maturity.
The role blends people leadership with strong engineering depth, focusing on automation, observability, and ownership across product-driven development in a Copenhagen-based environment.
Dalux continues to grow rapidly, and we're looking for a Manager for our Operations Team to help us scale how we operate our production systems and ensure that Dalux continues to deliver reliable and stable services to customers around the world.
As our products and Development organization grow, operational excellence and reliability become increasingly important. At the same time, we believe that the teams building our products should take responsibility for how they perform in production.
You will lead and develop the Operations Team responsible for production operations, monitoring, incident and problem management, release execution, and service availability. You will also work closely with our Product Teams and other engineering teams to improve operational maturity, automate repetitive work, and enable Product Teams to take increasing ownership of the reliability and operational readiness of their services.
We are looking for an Engineering Manager with a strong background in production operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or similar – rather than a traditional IT Operations Manager.
We are looking for a Manager who combines strong people leadership with engineering understanding and operational experience.
You don't need to implement every technical solution yourself, but you should have enough technical depth to understand complex production systems, challenge engineering decisions, and earn the trust of experienced engineers.
Experience with Windows Server/IIS, infrastructure as code, application performance monitoring, databases, networking, or large-scale distributed systems is an advantage, but we don't expect you to be an expert in everything.
What matters most is that you can build and develop a strong Operations Team while creating an engineering culture around reliable production systems.
At Dalux, you'll join a product-driven company where ideas quickly become reality and where you'll have a direct impact on how we build and operate software used by customers around the world.
Founded in 2005, Dalux is a Danish Contech company revolutionizing the construction industry with innovative software built on geometric processing and 3D computer graphics.
Over the past years, we've grown by 40% annually and now have over 900 employees across 50+ offices in more than 25 countries. All product development takes place in our Østerbro, Copenhagen office, where we focus on building the future of construction technology.
We place great value on our strong social community and close collaboration with colleagues, which is why we primarily work from our Copenhagen location.
