Job summary

Kamstrup is seeking a Head of Operational Quality to lead the global quality strategy across our Water production sites in Denmark and the United States. You will embed quality throughout the value chain and drive a new level of maturity, influencing performance and customer satisfaction worldwide.

You will manage a team of five specialists and collaborate with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Sourcing, and Supply Chain to deliver best-in-class quality practices and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Bring solid Operational Quality experience from manufacturing.
• Have a strong foundation in quality systems and methodologies like APQP, FMEA, SPC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of specialists across Operational Quality and Supplier Quality Assurance.
• Drive quality performance through governance, RCA, and corrective actions.
• Develop and deploy global quality standards, methodologies, and KPIs across sites.
• Ensure quality readiness, risk management and supplier quality performance.

Here Is What The Job Entails

As our new Head of Operational Quality, you will lead the global Operational Quality strategy across our Water production sites in Denmark and the US. You will drive the transformation of Operational Quality to a new level of maturity by strengthening our quality culture, enhancing governance, supplier quality performance, and ensuring scalable processes that support growth. In close collaboration with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Sourcing, and Supply Chain, you will embed quality throughout the value chain and make it a key driver of business performance.

More specifically, you will be:

• Leading and developing a team of five specialists across Operational Quality, Supplier Quality Assurance, and Measuring Laboratory
• Driving operational quality performance through governance, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Developing and deploying global quality standards, methodologies, and KPIs across production sites
• Ensuring quality readiness, risk management, and supplier quality performance to support operational excellence and new product introductions
• Strengthening quality culture and Operational Quality maturity across sites and functions

Meet your future team

With a direct reference to our Senior Director, Water Supply Chain, you will become part of a newly established leadership team where you will help define the future leadership standards and operational excellence agenda across our Water Supply Chain.

You will lead a team of five highly skilled specialists. While the direct team is relatively small, your influence will extend across the entire Water Business Unit and Supply Chain organization through strong stakeholder management, quality leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. Together, the team is responsible for ensuring best-in-class quality performance and supporting the delivery of Kamstrup water meters worldwide.

In order to succeed, we imagine that you:

• Hold a degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline and bring solid Operational Quality experience from manufacturing
• Have a strong foundation in quality systems, processes, standards, and methodologies such as APQP, FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement
• Have successfully led quality transformations across sites, functions, or business units, including Supplier Quality and New Product Introduction
• Are an experienced people leader with a track record of developing high-performing teams and driving change
• Excel at stakeholder management and collaboration and are motivated by creating business impact through quality excellence

As we are an international organization it is important that you are fluent in English.
