Job summary

Maersk's APM Terminals Aarhus is seeking a Head of Finance to lead the terminal's finance function and align financial planning with operational strategy. You will partner with the Terminal Managing Director and senior management to drive performance and governance from an office in Aarhus.

The role covers accounting, control, risk, budgeting, and investment analysis, while developing the finance team and collaborating with procurement, legal, tax, and governance functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the terminal finance function across accounting, control and risk, planning, performance management, and corporate governance.
• Act as a strategic business partner to the Terminal Managing Director and contribute actively to the senior management team.
• Drive financial planning and analysis, investment analysis, performance management, and data-based decision support.
• Ensure financial information is accurate, reliable, timely, and compliant with legal and internal control requirements.
• Maintain a robust, risk-based control framework covering enterprise risk management, fraud prevention, tax, treasury, claims, and insurance.
• Lead finance capabilities and process improvements, including functional initiatives, system changes, and business intelligence.
• Oversee the daily execution of procurement and legal matters while leading, coaching, and developing the finance team.
