Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics seeks a Head of Data & Systems Maintenance to shape the global Master Data Management landscape. You will own SAP MDG, drive governance, data quality and scalability, and lead a high-performing team with regional and global touchpoints.

Reporting to the Director of Master Data Management, you will set priorities, partner with IT, and translate business requirements into scalable MDG solutions aligned with business needs. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience with SAP Master Data Governance in a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality management and enterprise data landscapes.
• Proven leadership experience within systems, data or technology-focused teams.
• Experience partnering closely with IT and translating business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

• Own the MDM systems landscape by setting the governance, priorities and roadmap for SAP MDG and related platforms.
• Lead SAP MDG excellence, ensuring scalable data models, workflows, integrations and data distribution capabilities.
• Partner with IT on architecture, delivery, releases, service performance and continuous system improvement.
• Drive innovation and data quality, embedding governance, automation and standardisation across the MDM landscape.
• Prioritise business demands and system changes, balancing value, risk, dependencies and capacity.
• Lead and develop a team of experts, building capability, accountability and a high-performing culture.
• Ensure strong governance and transparency through reporting, risk management and continuous improvement.

You will own SAP Master Data Governance (SAP MDG) and related platforms, drive innovation and data quality, and help ensure that our systems remain scalable, reliable and aligned with business needs. Your Responsibilities And Impact

Reporting to the Director of Master Data Management, you will lead and develop the Data & Systems Maintenance team and act as the primary business counterpart to IT for the MDM systems landscape.

You will define priorities, governance and roadmaps across SAP MDG and related platforms, translate business requirements into scalable solutions, and ensure strong performance, data quality and continuous improvement across the landscape. You will also play a key role in driving innovation, strengthening governance and developing a high-performing team.

• Proven leadership experience within systems, data or technology-focused teams
• Experience partnering closely with IT and translating business requirements into scalable solutions
• A solid understanding of system integrations, releases, change management and service operations
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence working across technical and business functions
• A structured, pragmatic and results-oriented approach with the ability to navigate complexity and turn insight into action
• Fluency in written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Data Quality Management tools, automation, cloud platforms or modern data technologies
• Relevant certifications within project management, IT service management, data management, or continuous improvement
