Job summary

DSV Road GmbH is seeking a Head of Data & Systems Maintenance to shape the master data landscape across the organisation. You will own SAP MDG, drive data quality, and lead a high-performing team with a global reach and visible impact.

You will partner with IT to define governance, roadmaps, and scalable solutions, ensuring reliable systems and continuous improvement across the MDM landscape. Fluency in English and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience with SAP Master Data Governance in a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality management and enterprise data landscapes.
• Proven leadership experience within systems, data or technology-focused teams.
• Experience partnering with IT and translating business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Solid understanding of system integrations, releases, change management and service operations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate across technical and business functions.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Own the MDM systems landscape by setting governance, priorities and roadmap for SAP MDG and related platforms.
• Lead SAP MDG excellence, ensuring scalable data models, workflows, integrations and data distribution capabilities.
• Partner with IT on architecture, delivery, releases, service performance and continuous system improvement.
• Drive innovation and data quality, embedding governance, automation and standardisation across the MDM landscape.
• Prioritise business demands and system changes, balancing value, risk, dependencies and capacity.
• Lead and develop a team of experts, building capability and a high-performing culture.
• Ensure strong governance and transparency through reporting, risk management and continuous improvement.
