Job summary

Novonesis seeks a Head of AI Solutions to lead the AI Center of Excellence in Denmark, building agentic AI and ML solutions that deliver measurable business value. You will set direction, lead a team of experts, and partner with senior leaders to turn opportunities into scalable solutions.

You will manage a team of 8 specialists and 2 students, drive adoption of AI across the organization, and oversee an annual budget. The role is based in Hørsholm or Valby with occasional travel.

We are looking for a colleague to lead the team at the heart of Novonesis’ AI Center of Excellence, building agentic AI and machine learning solutions that deliver measurable business value. You will set direction and development practices, lead a team of specialists, and partner with senior leaders across the business to turn AI opportunities into scalable solutions.

About the team:

The team develops agentic AI and ML solutions in a cross-functional environment with automation, enablement and platform teams within the Data Office. Through a hub-and-spoke model, we provide platforms, governance, training, solutions and communities that help teams develop and scale business-owned AI and data solutions.

Your role:

We are looking for an engaging people leader who can unite highly skilled experts, create direction in a fast-moving field and translate technical possibilities into business value.

• Lead an effective, collaborative team with psychological safety and shared ownership.
• Coach specialists, connect with their expertise and support their continued growth.
• Set a clear direction in a rapidly evolving technical landscape.
• Work with business leaders to evaluate and prioritize AI and machine learning opportunities.
• Balance near-term delivery with long-term team and capability development.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders on strategically important AI initiatives.
• Drive adoption of agentic AI, machine learning and new ways of working across the organization.

Potentially relevant experience:

• Proven people leadership and experience building and developing high-performing expert teams.
• Experience leading technology-enabled change or business transformation.
• Strong senior stakeholder management, communication and prioritization skills.
• Experience delivering or overseeing data or AI solutions in a business environment.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI, machine learning, data platforms or related tools.

In this role you will lead a team of 8 specialists and 2 students based in Denmark, manage an annual budget of DKK 10-15 million. Occasional travel is expected.
