Job summary

KMD is seeking a Group Financial Controller to drive the financial part of CSRD and to optimize accounting and controlling processes within a major Danish IT company. You will join the Group Reporting team and collaborate with stakeholders across the business and NEC Corporation to ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls.

Do you want to contribute to the journey of one of Denmark’s largest IT companies? Do you have great skills within CSRD, cashflow, accounting and audit? Then you might be our new Group Financial Controller in KMD.

About the job

Do you want to have a central role in an international organization, where you will be part of some of our key projects e.g. CSRD? As the new Group Financial Controller, you will be part of KMD’s journey towards optimizing existing and new processes in the Accounting and Controlling function with your strong professional skills.

You will join the Group Reporting team which currently consists of six engaged and skilled employees. The Group Reporting team has a central role regarding month-end-close, internal and external reporting, consolidation, bank, forecasting and CSRD.

Your tasks include among other things:

• Lead our CSRD project (financial part)
• Month-end and year-end-closing task related to closing on Group level
• Handling Cash pool and cashflow tasks including forecasting and dialogue with stakeholders
• Develop and maintain internal policies, procedures and internal controls on group level, ensuring compliance with group accounting policies
• Participation in accounting projects across the organization
• Ad hoc accounting and audit tasks.

The role is rooted in the Finance department, where we have a strong focus on efficient month-end-close, being compliant within several areas and focusing on doing our compliance tasks most efficient e.g. by using new technologies.

You should also expect to build strong relationships with many stakeholders working with reporting such as our global owners, the NEC Corporation, and internal stakeholders in the business and in back-office functions.

About you

To succeed as Group Financial Controller, it is necessary that you are proactive and take responsibility for several finance tasks with a keen sense of high quality in deliveries. Furthermore, you have experience in optimization and automation of processes within finance and accounting.

Experience with CSRD is a plus.

You most likely have a HD (R) or master’s degree in finance, accounting or auditing, or a related field and proven experience of +3 years within audit or finance/accounting.

Most importantly, we are looking for a detail-oriented candidate who thrives in a position where compliance, accurate communication and optimization are the focus.

In addition, you show independent initiative, commitment, decisiveness and have a good overview.
