Job summary

UNICEF Copenhagen's Global Transport & Logistics Center seeks a Project Manager to drive ADEPT programme implementation across countries, improving importation processes for health products and vaccines.

You will engage with UNICEF country offices, ministries of health and other agencies to map regulatory requirements, streamline clearance, and strengthen public-private partnerships for sustainable supply chains.

Qualifications

• Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in supply chain, international business, or a related field.
• Experience in project management, particularly in supply chain, logistics, or international trade.
• Experience working with government agencies and international organizations is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of customs and import regulations.

Responsibilities

• Engage UNICEF offices in selected countries to support in-country project delivery.
• Validate and establish country-specific information and contacts; liaise with ministries of health and other government agencies.
• Map importation processes, tax exemptions, and regulatory requirements.
• Source data to measure baseline performance and project impact; participate in governance structures, workshops, and convenings.
• Collaborate to streamline country importation processes, advocate for single windows, and enhance understanding of customs clearance requirements.
• Clarify financial disbursement mechanisms; establish in-country working groups; participate in public-private working groups for sustainability.
• Raise awareness on digitalization in importation processes and strengthen partnerships by identifying stakeholders for lobbying and collaboration.
