Job summary

JACK & JONES in Brande, Denmark, seeks a data-driven Business Controller to translate financial performance into actionable insights across our 750+ stores. You’ll partner with Retail Managers across markets to identify opportunities and drive better results.

Join a fast-moving, international fashion company with 35+ colleagues in Retail, a role that combines budgeting, KPI follow-up and cost-control initiatives. Travel about 20 days per year and a dynamic, results-focused environment.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in business controlling and data analysis to support business decisions
Degree in finance, economics or business administration
Excellent skills in Excel
Experience operating finance systems (we use SAP)
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyse P&L performance, identifying risks, opportunities and key business drivers
Own and drive budgeting and financial planning across several markets
Monitor staff costs and identify opportunities to optimise staffing and expenditure
Follow up on KPIs, budgets and commercial initiatives
Develop and implement cost-control initiatives to strengthen store performance
Support markets with relevant analysis and data for daily, weekly and monthly business follow-up
Prepare performance insights for meetings with international retail teams
Develop and follow up on sales initiative reporting
