Qualifications

• Experience with procurement, including purchase orders and follow-up.
• Completed education as an office assistant and/or relevant higher education qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience with technical or project procurement.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• Good IT skills and experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Ability to work in a structured manner and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Procurement Managers with procurement tasks related to upgrading, service, and maintenance projects for engine and biomass power plants globally.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and place purchase orders within a defined area of responsibility.
• Participate in category management, supplier relationship development, negotiations, and supplier agreements.
• Contribute to identifying and evaluating potential suppliers.
• Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders.
• Maintain and update supplier data in the ERP system.
• Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries and invoice approvals.
• Assist with Global Supply Chain tasks, including work instructions and new workflows.
