Job summary

Vestas seeks a Process Lead to bridge R&D and Manufacturing, shaping design decisions into robust, scalable manufacturing solutions. You will own end-to-end DfA, PFMEA, control plans and process parameters for Nacelle components, guiding global teams across industrialization and NPI.

Travel up to 50 days/year and a dynamic, international work environment are offered. The role requires strong manufacturing engineering experience, DFMA collaboration with product teams, and a proven ability to lead

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field.
8+ years in manufacturing engineering, process engineering or industrialization.
Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans and process validation.
Experience with Windchill/Creo and change management processes.
DfA experience and collaboration with product development for manufacturability.
Experience from an international manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end Design for Assembly and manufacturing process development from early design through industrialization and serial production.
Interface with R&D to shape product design via DfA and DFMEA for scalable solutions.
Own and improve PFMEA, Control Plans, process flows and work instructions.
Define manufacturing concepts, line balancing, tooling and production methods to meet targets.
Govern changes and ensure readiness across the product lifecycle.
Support manufacturing leads and factories through industrialization and NPI.
Provide technical leadership and coach process engineers and designers worldwide.
