Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Global Operational Excellence PMO to drive The Maersk Way deployment from strategy to execution in Copenhagen. The role combines programme management, capability building, and gemba improvement to embed and sustain changes across regions and functions.

You'll be onsite five days a week, spending substantial time at gemba, leading workshops, developing deployment plans, tracking progress, and escalating risks while partnering with leaders to translate strategy into local

Qualifications

Extensive experience in operational excellence and lean practices.
Proven programme or project management experience in large-scale transformations.
Experience delivering training and workshops to diverse audiences.
Skilled in structured problem solving (A3, root cause analysis).

Responsibilities

Drive the structured rollout of The Maersk Way across the organisation.
Develop and execute multi-year deployment plans with clear milestones, timelines, and tracking mechanisms.
Champion implementation of key TMW elements, including Action Plans and performance routines.
Deliver training and capability-building sessions on TMW tools, behaviours, and performance management.
Facilitate continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen workshops.
Structured problem-solving sessions.
Work directly with leaders and teams to translate TMW into local and functional execution plans.
Track adoption, progress, and risks - ensuring visibility, governance, and structured escalation.
Continuously refine deployment approaches based on feedback, performance, and organisational readiness.
