Job summary

A.P. Moller - Maersk, the global leader in container shipping, is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager - Network Core Engineering in Copenhagen.

You will lead a global engineering team delivering secure, reliable network core products and services—automation-first and scalable across a distributed enterprise. You will collaborate with stakeholders across management levels to mature and operate our portfolio, drive measurable reliability (SLIs/SLOs), and embed Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD

Qualifications

• Experience leading global engineering teams delivering network core services.
• Strong background in network engineering and reliability.
• Proven track record in automation-first delivery and modern software practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global engineering team responsible for building and running network core services with clear ownership of reliability.
• Own the product engineering lifecycle for core connectivity services: roadmap execution, modernization, tech debt management.
• Establish and operate measurable reliability management: define service indicators and objectives, monitor health, and drive improvements.
• Drive automation-first delivery: embed IaC and CI/CD into network change delivery with safe deployment patterns.
