Job summary

Zealand Pharma A/S is seeking a Senior Director, Global Marketing Strategy to translate brand strategy into customer engagement and multichannel go-to-market plans. You will build a scalable marketing organization and serve as the commercial voice shaping core brands ahead of a major obesity/metabolic health launch.

The role owns marketing planning, budgeting and performance, partners with Medical Affairs and Legal to ensure compliant promotional activities, and collaborates across Commercial,

Qualifications

• Strategic branding experience across pharma/biotech
• Global/ regional launch track record in obesity/metabolic health preferred
• Omnichannel and digital engagement for HCPs and patients
• Strong understanding of promotional compliance and regulatory review
• Budgeting, agency management, and marketing analytics ownership
• Experience in matrixed, international organizations with partners

Responsibilities

• Define brand strategy, including positioning, segmentation and brand building to a strong value proposition
• Develop the go‑to‑market and marketing strategy, translating brand strategy into integrated, multichannel plans
• Build the marketing function, including team structure, processes, and agency and vendor partnerships
• Own marketing planning, budgeting, and performance measurement
• Lead launch‑readiness activities for marketing, e.g. campaigns, tools, and customer engagement models
• Ensure promotional activities comply with regulatory and internal review requirements, in partnership with Medical Affairs and Legal
• Collaborate with Commercial, Market Access, and the U.S. organization to align execution across markets
