Job summary

BEUMER Group seeks an IT Specialist with a strong IT foundation and growing cybersecurity interest. You will support and improve our remote support infrastructure, customer connections, and monitoring capabilities for critical infrastructure worldwide.

You will engage with internal teams and customers on security topics while expanding your cybersecurity expertise. The role emphasizes secure remote access, logging, hardening, patching, and security improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, networks, servers, and remote access solutions.
• Interest and growth mindset in cybersecurity concepts and risk-based activities.
• Ability to support cyber security-related topics, risk assessments, and security-focused engagements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IT services to customers, including patching, updates, configuration changes, and operational support.
• Set up, maintain, and improve remote access platforms and customer connections.
• Improve remote support infrastructure focusing on availability, usability, reliability, and security.
• Support monitoring and logging capabilities, including event logs and syslog.
• Assist with secure configuration, device hardening, access control, and infrastructure improvements.
• Support cyber security-related questions and initiatives with colleagues.
• Assist Hotline and Monitoring Center teams with remote support questions.
• Work with servers, virtualization, networks, firewalls, switches, routers, storage, backup, and Windows servers.
• Travel up to 20 days per year to visit customers and BEUMER Group offices worldwide.
