Job summary

Saxo in Copenhagen (HQ), Denmark is seeking a Head of HRIS to take practical ownership of Saxo’s global Workday solution and lead a small team that keeps our core HR platform running while continuing to improve it.

You will join Group People & Culture's Reward, People Data & Systems team, reporting to the Head of Reward and working closely with stakeholders across the global organisation covering 12 countries. You will take full ownership when the current holder retires in spring 2027.

Qualifications

• Direct experience with Workday for several years.
• Experience leading a team, workstream or significant area of delivery.
• Strong stakeholder and project management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional or technical requirements.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small HRIS team in Copenhagen and India covering Workday operations, support, configuration, development and project delivery, while contributing hands-on where needed.
• Own the Workday roadmap and day-to-day service, including priorities, releases, production stability, support arrangements, documentation and continuous improvement.
• Translate business needs into clear process and technical requirements, challenge requests constructively and coordinate delivery with internal specialists and external partners.
• Maintain sound governance of Workday processes, security, access, testing, changes, data quality, integrations and relevant controls.
• Build strong working relationships across People & Culture, Payroll, Technology, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal and local teams, and manage key Workday and HR technology vendors.
• Support the wider HR technology landscape by coordinating dependencies between Workday and payroll, identity management, reporting and other connected systems.
