Job summary

Maersk Air Cargo is strengthening its People & Payroll team with a People Advisor role that supports employees on HR queries, ensuring a positive employee experience. You will be the first contact for HR issues and own resolution from start to finish, while collaborating with Legal, Payroll, Tax and global HR teams.

The role emphasizes advisory excellence, compliance, and end-to-end lifecycle support in an international setting, with a focus on fairness and professional development.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build effective partnerships.
• Experience in highly unionised environments with collective agreements.
• Cross-border employment experience across jurisdictions.
• Aviation industry experience is an advantage.
• Solid operational HR experience across the full employee lifecycle.
• Strong legal and compliance mindset with risk awareness.
• Knowledge of Danish employment law and HR compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; problem-solving.
• High execution capability with ownership and delivery.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Workday experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR guidance to leaders and employees.
• Advise on employment law, employee relations, and HR policies.
• Coordinate cross-border employment solutions across jurisdictions.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation and collective agreements.
• Support onboarding, performance management, changes, and off-boarding.
• Collaborate with Legal, Payroll, Tax, and HR teams and external advisors.
• Drive timely HR initiatives with ownership and accountability.
