This role sits at the centre of integrated business planning, responsible for aligning demand signals with supply capabilities to drive best-in-class service levels, inventory optimisation, and operational efficiency across European markets.
Unlike traditional hub structures, this role is positioned within a high-value, commercially connected environment, working closely with regional stakeholders and benefiting from strong proximity to business decision‑making. You will play a key role in shaping and enhancing S&OP / IBP processes, with a strong focus on data‑driven planning and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop robust end-to-end demand forecasts, incorporating historical data, market trends, commercial inputs, and promotional activity
- Translate demand plans into feasible and optimised supply plans, aligning closely with manufacturing, procurement, and capacity constraints
- Proactively manage inventory strategy, balancing availability, working capital, and obsolescence risk
- Lead and contribute to S&OP / IBP processes, providing clear insights, scenario modelling, and actionable recommendations
- Monitor and analyse forecast accuracy, bias, and service KPIs, driving corrective actions and continuous improvements
- Act as a key interface between commercial, supply chain, and operations teams, managing risk, identifying opportunities, and influencing decisions
- Drive process and system improvements, leveraging advanced planning tools and improving data quality across the planning cycle
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end, demand or supply planning within FMCG, consumer goods, or a similarly fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical capability, with the ability to translate complex data into clear commercial insights and decisions
- Experience with advanced planning systems (SAP IBP, APO, or equivalent), with a preference for candidates comfortable in digital/automated planning environments
- Solid understanding of integrated business planning (S&OP / IBP) within a multi-market or regional structure
- Confident stakeholder manager, with the ability to challenge, influence, and operate at a senior level
- Experience working across Nordic or wider European markets is advantageous
- Fluent English required; additional Nordic language skills are a plus but not essential
