Job summary

Vestas seeks a senior leader to own and evolve the Vestas Production System (VPS), the operating system driving performance, culture and competitiveness across our global manufacturing network. You will design, govern, deploy, and continuously improve VPS across Nacelles, Blades, Logistics, Warehousing and ramp-ups.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
• 15+ years of leadership experience in global manufacturing.
• Deploy and sustain high-performing production systems across multiple plants.
• Deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Direct the development, governance, and ongoing refinement of the Vestas Production System (VPS).
• Enable global deployment and sustainable implementation of VPS standards across sites.
• Own and enhance the VPS framework with shop floor standards, standard work, and flow optimisation.
• Conduct VPS maturity assessments, audits, and gap closure activities.
• Guide strategy deployment to align objectives with operational priorities.
• Coach and develop plant leadership teams and embed a culture of improvement.
• Benchmark and replicate best practices to improve performance and efficiency.
• Oversee and develop the global VPS team delivering measurable results in safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity.
