Job summary

DanChurchAid seeks a visionary Head of Unit for Humanitarian Response & Mine Action (HRMA) based in Copenhagen. Lead a global team of humanitarian advisors and mine action specialists, ensuring high-quality responses and strategic alignment with international humanitarian law and DCA's priorities.

You will shape preparedness, anticipatory action, and partner engagement, while coordinating with donors, UN agencies, and government partners.

Qualifications

• Experience leading humanitarian response and mine action teams.
• Extensive field experience in international emergencies.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely humanitarian responses following standards.
• Lead development of strategies and guidelines across the unit.
• Manage budget and annual planning for HRMA.
• Coordinate with donors and UN agencies.
