Job summary
Novo Nordisk is seeking a Clinical Pharmacology Specialist to join the Clinical Pharmacology organisation and influence decisions across early to regulatory development. You will drive pharmacology activities, ensure study design quality, and contribute to scientific excellence in PK/PD and translational science.
You will provide strategic input on dose selection, study interpretation, and cross-functional collaboration with global teams to advance medicines and improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine or Pharmacology plus PhD or equivalent.
- Experience in clinical pharmacology within pharma, biotech, CRO or academia.
- Strong understanding of clinical drug development, PK/PD and translational science.
- Experience planning and interpreting clinical studies in cross-functional, international teams.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Responsibilities
- Lead scientific planning, design, execution, interpretation of clinical pharmacology studies across development.
- Provide strategic clinical pharmacology input to projects, including dose selection and PK/PD analyses.
- Coordinate clinical pharmacology activities across cross‑functional teams and external partners.
- Contribute to regulatory documentation and health authority interactions for global submissions.
- Represent Clinical Pharmacology in development teams and collaborate with internal and external scientists.
