Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Denmark seeks a Principal ADME Scientist to lead evaluating ADME and DDI risks from late discovery through non-clinical and clinical development to regulatory submission. You will provide scientific leadership on ADME- and DDI-related questions and influence key project decisions across modalities.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. is preferred or Master’s degree in pharmaceutical or medical sciences or equivalent.
• Several years of relevant experience within ADME and ideally DDI in drug development in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Solid experience with ADME and DDI study conduct.
• Demonstrated knowledge of interpretation and translation of results from in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo ADME and DDI studies.
• Strong understanding of scientific and strategic principles of drug development.

Responsibilities

• Design, conduct, and interpret in vitro and in vivo studies to evaluate ADME and DDI profiles of drug candidates across modalities.
• Inform and guide projects on ADME- and DDI-related topics.
• Interacting with regulatory authorities, including providing written input to regulatory documents.
• Champion innovation and new scientific initiatives for early and late-stage development programs by reviewing literature and advances.
• Interpret and translate results to support sound project decisions.
• Identify and resolve complex scientific and strategic challenges with broad impact on portfolios.
• Communicate complex data and recommendations clearly to diverse stakeholders.
