Job summary

Demant Diagnostics is seeking a commercially driven Category Manager to own the electro-mechanical components and assemblies portfolio. You will blend strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization with close collaboration across R&D, Operations, and QA/RA to strengthen our supply chain.

Based at our Interacoustics headquarters in Middelfart, you will shape category strategies, optimize supplier portfolios, and negotiate long-term agreements with global partners.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in engineering, supply chain, procurement, business, or related discipline.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management within manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Strong negotiation, cost-focused and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for supplier development, quality, and cost.
• Initiate cost effectiveness initiatives and drive savings.
• Negotiate agreements and build long-term supplier relationships.
• Drive supplier segmentation, SRM, consolidation, and performance management.
• Ensure contract management and compliance with QA/RA functions.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, QA/RA and project leads across regions.
