Job summary

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our on-site team in Denmark. You will contribute to the design, implementation and commissioning of automation solutions for customer projects, focusing on PLC programming and robust documentation.

You will work closely with D&E colleagues across regions, support production during start-up and FAT activities, and help upgrade systems at existing customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial automation, especially PLC programming.
• Experience-specifying, designing, testing and troubleshooting machinery.
• Excellent Danish and English written and verbal communication skills.
• Natural inclination toward high-level documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and confirm processes to URS/FDS for customer projects.
• Prepare and engineer the product with colleagues in D&E.
• Provide a well-documented, pre-tested codebase for software/automation deliveries.
• Assist production with start-up, adjustments and testing including Pre-FAT.
• Prepare and execute upgrades with the service department at existing customers.
• Read, understand and utilize others' documentation and work.
