Job summary

LEMAN is seeking a Group COO Air & Express to shape and lead the global Air, Sea and Express operations from Denmark, with a mandate spanning 16 markets. You will own the global operating model, drive revenue growth, margins and transformation, and partner with Country CEOs to align local and global priorities.

You will manage P&L, establish KPIs and governance, lead procurement and data-driven initiatives, and drive profitability through cross-functional collaboration and strategic leadership.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in international air and sea freight
• Experience across multiple countries in complex matrix organisations
• Track record of productivity, profitability and operational improvement
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L responsibility
• Experience with procurement, supplier negotiations and organisational transformation
• A strategic, structured, analytical and data-driven mindset
• The ability to build trusted relationships and influence without direct authority

Responsibilities

• Define the global operating model, standards and governance for Air, Sea and Express.
• Act as a strategic partner to Country CEOs and local Air & Sea organisations, aligning the global agenda with local priorities.
• Share P&L responsibility with local Country CEOs and drive revenue, gross profit, margins, productivity, cost development and profitable growth.
• Establish transparency around performance and translate insights into clear actions.
• Set and execute the global procurement strategy, strengthen relationships with airlines and freight partners, leveraging global volumes.
• Lead global improvement initiatives, standardise processes, and drive data-driven performance improvements.
